Five For Fighting - Slice (October 13, 2009)


Slice is the fifth studio album by Five For Fighting, the stage name of American singer-songwriter John Ondrasik, released on October 13, 2009 by Aware Records, Columbia Records and Wind-Up Records, his first album with WU. In May 2009, Ondrasik posted on his MySpace blog that the name of his forthcoming record will be taken from fan suggestions, and will be subsequently voted on to determine the winning album title.

The first single from the new album, called Chances, was released on July 21, 2009, as a digital download. It also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #83 and at #12 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart on the week ending October 31, 2009. Chances can also be heard in the end credits of the 2009 film The Blind Side. It can also be heard in the first promotional commercial video of Idol Season 10. Slice has sold approximately 30,000 during its stay on the Billboard 200.

On September 22, 2009, the music video for Chances was released on VH1.com. The music video shows the story of two teenagers falling in love, while Ondrasik narrates (sings) to the story. The video was directed by Steven Drypolcher (Beyonce, Kanye West, Boys Like Girls) and produced by Partizan. The Making Of The Chances Music Video is available on amazon.com.

Eat Pray Love (2010)


One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia is a 2006 memoir by American author Elizabeth Gilbert. The memoir chronicles the author's trip around the world after her divorce and what she discovered during her travels. The book remained on the New York Times Best Seller list for 187 weeks. The movie rights for the memoir were purchased by Columbia Pictures. The film version, which stars American actress Julia Roberts. 

Story:
At 32 years old, Elizabeth Gilbert (Julia Roberts) was educated, had a home, a husband, and a successful career as a writer. However, she was unhappy in her marriage and often spent the night crying on her bathroom floor. After separating from her husband and initiating a divorce, which he contested, she embarked on a rebound relationship which continued for some time but did not work out, leaving her devastated and alone. Afterwards, while writing an article on yoga vacations in Bali, Gilbert met a ninth-generation medicine man who told her she would one day come back and study with him. After finalizing her difficult divorce, Gilbert spent the next year traveling around the world. The trip was paid for in advance with a book deal from the publisher.

She spent four months in Italy, eating and enjoying life (Eat). She spent four months in India, finding her spirituality (Pray). She ended the year in Bali, Indonesia, looking for balance of the two and found love (Love) in the form of a dashing Brazilian factory owner.

Mr. BIG - What If (January 21, 2011)


What If... is the seventh full-length studio album by hard rock band Mr. Big, which was released on January 21, 2011 through Frontiers Records. It was the Band's first album since their 2009 reunion, their first album in 10 years since 2001's Actual Size and their first album with the original line-up featuring guitarist Paul Gilbert since 1996's Hey Man. 

The album was recorded between September-October 2010 in a Los Angeles-area studio with producer Kevin Shirley (Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Rush), and will be supported by a world tour in 2011.

The first single from the album, Undertow, was released on November 27, 2010. A music video has been filmed for the single and will be featured on the special edition DVD of the album.

The album's us release date is set for February 8, 2011, through Frontiers Records as well.
