Bright Star is a 2009 film based on the last three years of the life of poet John Keats and his romantic relationship with Fanny Brawne. It stars Ben Whishaw as Keats and Abbie Cornish as Fanny. A British/Australian/French co-production, it was directed by Jane Campion, who wrote the screenplay and was inspired by the biography of Keats by Andrew Motion, who served as a script consultant on the film. The film competed in the main competition at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, and was first shown to the public on 15 May 2009. The film's title is a reference to a sonnet by Keats named Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art, which he wrote while he was with Brawne.

When Angels And Serpents Dance is the seventh studio album by POD, released in 2008. It was the first album to include Marcos Curiel since his departure from the group and first to be released by INO/Columbia. It also includes Mike Muir from Suicidal Tendencies, Helmet guitarist Page Hamilton, guest Gospel Choir, and the Marley Sisters. The album debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200, selling over 34,000 copies in its first week. It has sold over 188,000 copies worldwide so far.

The Fighter is a 2010 biographical sports drama film directed by David O. Russell, and starring Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, and Amy Adams. The film centers on the life of professional boxer Irish Micky Ward (Wahlberg) and his older half-brother Dicky Eklund (Bale). The film also stars Amy Adams as Micky's love interest, and Melissa Leo as Micky's and Dicky's mother. The Fighter is Russell and Wahlberg's third film collaboration, following Three Kings and I Heart Huckabees.

The Tourist is a 2010 thriller/romance film directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. It is a remake of the 2005 French action film Anthony Zimmer. After a very public slow start, The Tourist went on to gross US$ 258 million worldwide. The film was nominated for three Golden Globes, with a debate arising over the question if it was a comedy or a drama. Donnersmarck repeatedly stated it was neither genre, calling it a travel romance with thriller elements, but that if he had to choose between the two, he would choose comedy.

Step Up 3D (August 6, 2010)
Step Up 3D is a 2010 American 3D dance film written by Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer and directed by Step Up 2: The Streets's Jon Chu. The sequel sees the return of Adam Sevani and Alyson Stoner, who portrayed Moose from Step Up 2: The Streets and Camille Gage from Step Up, respectively.
As the third installment in the Step Up Trilogy, and the first shot in 3D, the film follows Moose and Camille Gage as they head to New York University, the former dancer of whom is majoring in electrical engineering after promising his father that he would not dance anymore. However, he soon stumbles upon a dance battle, meeting Luke Katcher and his House of Pirates dance crew and later teaming up with them to compete in the World Jam dance contest against their rival, the House of Samurai dance crew.
Step Up 3D premiered in Hollywood at the El Capitan Theater on August 2, 2010 and was subsequently released worldwide on August 6, 2010, through conventional 2D and 3D (in RealD 3D, Dolby 3D, and XpanD 3D) formats. It was also the second movie to feature the 7.1 surround sound audio format, the first of which was Toy Story 3. The film grossed $15.8 million in its opening weekend, the lowest of the trilogy, but went on to make more money than any other installment in the series and has received positive reviews, with most praising its dance sequences and effective use of 3D, while others criticizing the repetitive story.

Gulliver's Travels is a 2010 American fantasy comedy film directed by Rob Letterman and loosely based on the 18th-century novel of the same name by Jonathan Swift, though the film takes place in the modern era. The film stars Jack Black, Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Billy Connolly, Catherine Tate, Chris O'Dowd and Amanda Peet as Darcy Silverman and is distributed by 20th Century Fox. Originally scheduled for release on June 4, 2010, it was pushed back to December 24, 2010 and later changed once again to December 22, 2010. 20th Century Fox later announced on March 23, 2010 that the film would be converted to 3D. On December 13, 20th Century Fox announced that it would again move the release date, this time to December 25, 2010.

Life Starts Now is the third studio album by Canadian Rock band Three Days Grace. The album was released on September 22, 2009. It is the band's second album produced by Howard Benson, after its commercially successful predecessor One-X. It has been officially certified Platinum in Canada. It was certified Gold in the US on March 1, 2011.
Puddle Of Mudd - Famous (October 9, 2007)
Famous is the third major label studio album (fourth overall) from U.S. Alternative Rock band Puddle Of Mudd. It was released on October 9, 2007 on Flawless Records. Famous was originally set to be released in May, but was pushed back to add more songs to the album. The album was also announced by the band to be titled Livin' on Borrowed Time, but that was changed to Famous after the name of the first single.
The title track provided the album's lead single on May 21, 2007. Psycho would follow as the second single on November 2. Famous debuted at number 27 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 31,000 copies in its first week. The album has sold around 363,000 copies in the US.

Dream Theater - Images And Words (July 7, 1992)
Images and Words is the second studio album by American Progressive Metal band Dream Theater, released in 1992. It was recorded in late 1991 at BearTracks Studios in Suffern, New York. The album is the first Dream Theater release to feature James LaBrie on vocals. The album maintains its position as the band's most commercially successful studio album to date, and the song Pull Me Under's status as the only Top 10 hit the band has ever had. This particular song has also had some very recent success as it has appeared in the video game Guitar Hero: World Tour. On release the album was met with universal acclaim and many critics and fans cite this album as a landmark release for the Progressive Metal genre. Although there is no title track on this album, the phrase Images and Words appears in the song Wait for Sleep.

Lean Into It is an album by Hard Rock band Mr. Big, released in 1991. Known as the band's breakthrough release, it peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200 Charts, while the single To Be With You became the band's first and only song to hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up single, Just Take My Heart, was another Top 40 hit, peaking at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Black Swan (September 1, 2010)
Black Swan is a 2010 American psychological thriller film directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, and Mila Kunis. Its plot revolves around a production of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake ballet by a prestigious New York City company. The production requires a ballerina to play both the innocent White Swan and the sensual Black Swan. One dancer, Nina (Portman), is a perfect fit for the White Swan, while Lily (Kunis) has a personality that matches the Black Swan. When the two compete for the parts, Nina finds a dark side to herself.
Natalie Portman won the Academy Award for Best Actress, the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress-Motion Picture Drama, the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress, and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for the film, as well as in many other guilds and festivals for the Best Actress award.

Godsmack - The Oracle (May 4, 2010)
The Oracle, formerly known as Saints and Sinners, is the fifth studio album by American Hard Rock band Godsmack, released in the U.S. on May 4, 2010. The Oracle is the first Godsmack album to be produced by Dave Fortman. The Oracle also marks the first Godsmack studio album to be released since 2006's IV. The span of over four years between the fourth album and The Oracle marks the longest gap between studio albums in Godsmack's career.

The Social Network is a 2010 semi-biographical drama film about the founding of the social networking website Facebook and the resulting lawsuits. The film was directed by David Fincher and features an ensemble cast including Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Brenda Song, Armie Hammer, Max Minghella, Rashida Jones, Joseph Mazzello, and Rooney Mara.
The film won three Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Film Editing.
Aaron Sorkin adapted his screenplay from Ben Mezrich's 2009 nonfiction book The Accidental Billionaires. Sorkin also makes a cameo appearance as a would-be advertiser. Neither founder Mark Zuckerberg nor any other member of the Facebook team was involved with the project, although Eduardo Saverin was a consultant for Mezrich's story. The film was released in the United States by Columbia Pictures on October 1, 2010 to critical acclaim.
The film won the Best Motion Picture-Drama Golden Globe at the 68th Golden Globe Awards on January 16, 2011. The film also won the awards for Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Original Score, making it the film with the most wins of the night.
The film won the awards for the Best Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Director at the BAFTA, February 13, 2011.

Stone Sour - Audio Secrecy (September 7, 2010)
Audio Secrecy is the third studio album by American Rock Band Stone Sour. It was recorded and produced by the band and Nick Raskulinecz at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. On June 10, the band released a free download of Mission Statement, which was later released as a single on iTunes. The first official single, Say You'll Haunt Me, however, was released on July 6, 2010. Audio Secrecy is also the first studio album by Stone Sour that does not feature a spoken word track, or a Parental Advisory sticker.
